About

Originally from South Dakota, I moved to the twin cities area in 2010 to study at McNally Smith College of Music. Since graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Music in Percussion Performance, I have found no shortage of opportunities to both perform and teach.

Theater contracts and church gigs make up the majority of my performance schedule.

I play regularly in the worship bands for Hosanna Church in Rosemount, MN and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN.

I have also been a member of pit bands for many local theaters: Old Log Theatre, Jungle TheaterTheater Latte Da, Theatre L’Homme Dieu, Yellow Tree Theatre, History Theatre, Minnetonka Theatre, Maplewood Community Theatre, EM Pearson Theatre, and Mixed Blood Theatre.

During my time in the musical theater scene, I have performed in a wide range of musical genres; from old school rock ‘n’ roll in the show Million Dollar Quartet to classic broadway swing in the shows Mame and Guys & Dolls; from 80s rock in The Wedding Singer to 60s doo-wop in Life Could Be A Dream and Beehive; from blue grass and country in Bright Star and Violet to classic rock in We Will Rock You.

I have also played for multiple cover bands and original artists:  Maiden Dixie, Groove Captive, The Sumo Seven, The Great Escape, The Nic Stevens Band, The Wynand Hansen Band, and The Charles Wesley Project.

Some of my favorite drummers are Steve Smith, Mike Portnoy, Matt Garstka, Marco Minnemann, Larnell Lewis, Mike Clark, David Garibaldi, Tony Royster Jr., Anika Nilles, Nate Smith, and Steve Jordan.
